Freezing protection valve

Freezing protection valve

One of the worst scenarios related to water that might happen in an object is a plumbing pipe freezing and its bursting it a wall or in the floor of the building, what usually causes an enormous damage. The main reason for bursting pipes in the walls is that such leakages are usually noticed quite late, even for days from the moment when the leaking has started, and this is especially the case with isolated buildings, cottages or simply residential buildings in which no one lives for a longer period.
To avoid the described situation, we have developed a protective valve that is installed in the specified location on the water pipe, recommended in the bathroom or another place with the possibility of leaking. In conditions when the water temperature in the pipe reaches 2-3 ° C above zero, protective valve discharges water from the internal pipe and closes the inlet from the outer pipe. In this way water freezing and almost certain pipe bursting are prevented.
By installing protective valve against freezing, in addition to achieving the complete safety from the possible damage in the building, you achieve noticeable heating energy savings since it is no more necessary to maintain a minimum temperature in the building to prevent pipe freezing.
